Our Mission

Our mission is to free the genealogy researcher from the burdens of cumbersome software so they can rediscover their passion for exploring their family history.

Our History

AGES-online was founded in May, 2005, by Ken Aubuchon, Deb Aubuchon and Kay Mitchell. All three have spent years researching family history and genealogy. They struggled with various software packages determined to find the one that met all of their needs.

Having never found the right solution, they began their quest to create the ultimate family tree builder, combining their career IT skills with a passion for and experience with genealogy and family history. Together they pooled their resources and developed an internet package maintaining the following principles:

•  Intuitive data entry;

•  Access from anywhere research can be performed;

•  Effortless collaboration with family and friends;

•  Protection from unforeseen data loss;

•  Facilitation of easy Source and Citation entry.

In July, 2007, the internet phenomenon known as AGES-online was launched.

Since then, AGES-online has introduced many enhancements to ensure the research community can focus more on their research than data entry. Although AGES-online introduces new features and enhancements every couple of weeks, some of the more notable enhancements are:

•  Video Tutorial;

•  Source and Citation work-flow enhancement;

•  Photo Image Upload;

•  Family Stories;

•  Personalized Website;

•  Share with Family & Friends Collaboration.

AGES-online is always looking to make the service the best it can be by listening to subscribers. Many events and details as well as source templates have been introduced because of suggestions from subscribers. Keep that feedback flowing so AGES-online can continue to be the leader in internet family tree builders.
